1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Drops, creating an account, or calling the Drops API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, notice through the dashboard or by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
2. User responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Ensuring that the content you publish does not violate any law or these terms.
- Complying with all applicable local, state, national and international laws.
- Keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
3. API usage
The Drops API lets you create sites, upload and edit files, and manage your account programmatically, including through Drops AI (Custom GPT Actions).
-
You must authenticate every request with a valid API key using
Authorization: Bearer drops_live_…. - API keys are used only to authenticate requests on your behalf and are never shared with third parties.
- All API traffic is transmitted over HTTPS.
- GPT Actions access the API only when you initiate them. We process only the requests necessary to provide the service you asked for.
- You may not attempt to circumvent authentication, access another user's data, or probe the API in ways that are abusive or excessive.
4. Rate limits
To keep the platform reliable for everyone, Drops applies rate limits to API requests. Limits vary by plan and endpoint and are designed to prevent abuse rather than to hinder normal use.
-
Requests that exceed your rate limit receive a
429 Too Many Requestsresponse. -
We recommend that clients implement reasonable backoff and retry logic on
429responses. - We may temporarily block accounts that consistently exceed limits or behave abusively.
- Rate limits may be adjusted at any time; significant changes will be communicated through the dashboard or documentation.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Drops to:
- Publish, host or distribute content that is illegal, fraudulent or infringing.
- Host malware, phishing pages, botnets or content designed to compromise security.
- Engage in harassment, hate speech or the distribution of harmful content.
- Violate the intellectual property rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, systems or other users' data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the availability of the service.
- Use the service to run cryptomining, resell raw hosting capacity, or otherwise misuse platform resources.
We may investigate and take action — including suspension or termination — if we believe your use violates these terms or applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
Drops and its trademarks, logos, product names and service designs are owned by Drops. The Drops platform, API and related technology are protected by intellectual property laws and are not licensed to you except as expressly stated in these terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Drops service for the purpose for which it is offered, in accordance with these terms.
7. User content ownership
You retain full ownership of the web apps, files and content you create, upload or publish through Drops. Drops does not claim ownership of your uploaded content.
- Your apps and files belong to you.
- You grant Drops only the limited rights needed to provide the service: to store, process, serve and secure your content on your behalf.
- We do not sell your content or use it for marketing purposes.
- You are responsible for the content you publish and for any rights required to do so.
8. Account termination
You may stop using Drops and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deleting your account removes your sites, files and API keys.
We may suspend or terminate your account, in whole or in part, if you violate these terms or applicable law, or if continuing to serve your content poses a security or legal risk. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive — including ownership, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — will continue to apply.
9. Warranty disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of defects, or that the results obtained from the service will be accurate or reliable. You use the service at your own discretion and risk.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DROPS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You are responsible for backing up your content. Drops does not guarantee the availability or durability of uploaded files beyond the normal operation of the service.
